The Roosevelts (RSVLTS) is a lifestyle and apparel brand inspired by America’s 26th president, Teddy Roosevelt, an iconic adventurer, conservationist and statesman. Founded by 2 college buddies and headquartered in Hoboken, New Jersey, RSVLTS sells hats, hoodies, swim trunks and shirts featuring American heroes—from baseball players to worldwide wrestlers to Teddy himself.

RSVLTS partnered with digital ad agency JUICE to make its ads stand out in the barrage of Black Friday promotions. The team decided to run a 40% off sale to attract new and loyal audiences alike in the days before Black Friday. The company’s ads featured an array of product images. Some ads had a text overlay offering the discount, while some offered a small gift with the purchase of a shirt. A “Shop Now” call-to-action button linked to the company website.

The November 21–26, 2018 campaign for RSVLTS produced record-breaking results for its holiday sales:

  • 2,600 sales over 6-day campaign
  • 1,000 purchases on Black Friday alone
  • 3.5X number of Black Friday sales year over year
With JUICE, our Facebook campaign resulted in record-shattering success for our brand during the holidays. Our year-over-year Black Friday sales increased by 3.5X and represented by far the single biggest sales day in the history of RSVLTS. Similar success was achieved with Cyber Monday and subsequent sales as well. We’re thrilled and look forward to similar success stories in 2019.
